Follow Friday - Time Machine

This is the day of the week where we get to know each other better by answering a question devised by our lovely hostesses Parajunkee & Alisoncanread Be sure to stop by their blogs to see the featured blogger of the week and to see the list of blogs who are also participating.   And now for this week's question....

Q. If you had a time machine where would you go? EDIT:  Ok... I don't know what the question is supposed to be.  Last week I had this one up and then went to Alison's blog and thought she answered the youtube question one.  So I deleted this post and moved it to this week.  Then today I go to link up and I swear the youtube question is answered again.  Am I going crazy??  Anyways.. I am going to leave this one up.. so I hope you guys weren't coming looking for a funny video... THOUGH if you follow my blog I always post a funny youtube video on my Sunday Post so you are in luck there!

A.  Well of course I would want to go somewhere back in my real life... to an event that was just amazing and fun.  But.. that is a little boring probably for you guys.  So to pick another time it would be ancient Egypt.  I have always been fascinated with that time period.  Of course I would want to be royalty and not a slave. I would love to wear the make-up and outfits of the time. Like in the movie the Mummy Returns, I like the flash back parts when they are in Egypt. This is also one of the reasons I like to watch the Ten Commandments Movie every Easter.  I find that time period just beautiful. I wish that Disney would do an Egypt movie and I am surprised they haven't yet.

What about you??  Where would you like to travel to?

  1. A Disney movie in Egypt would be amazing. Although it isn't Disney, the comic movie 'Prince of Egypt' is set in Egypt and is about Moses and the Exodus. It's actually a really fun and good movie, despite maybe sounding dry! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

  3. I love The Ten Commandments. Although I might just have a thing for Yul Brenner's chest. Oh, and Prince of Egypt and any book by Christian Jacq. In the last couple years, I have read a few of the Elizabeth Peters novels and enjoyed them. Michelle Moran's books, yummy! Oh, and Esther Feisner has some YA Egyptian Princess book, too.
