Sunday Post

Let's chat about what's going on this week... on my blog.. on other blogs... on the internet... and just everywhere!    I link up my post to Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Reader.

Hello!  Another busy week here.  Lots of stuff going on at home, one thing includes watching Daredevil on Netflix and it's pretty good.  Binging my first show on there.  Usually I binge shows from the library since I only have the disk like 2 weeks. I like how Netflix releases all the shows at once.  But... I suppose once the binge is over then I have to wait forever till the next season.  I am also super excited about Game of Thrones premiering tomorrow night.  We have 9 people coming over so far to watch all the epicness.  For real... some of these friends need to get some HBO because we are running out of room for all those who are getting hooked on the show.  Maybe we aught to start charging and entrance fee!

I haven't been able to play a lot of different video games lately because my local Redbox still hasn't started renting out PS4 or XboxOne games so I am sorry about no video game reviews lately.  It's quite annoying, it's not like I live in a small town.  My library won't loan out rated M games and that seems to be what's been popular lately.  I might actually have to buy a new game soon!

Dewey's Readathon is coming.  I really need a readathon.  I have been lagging in reading and blogging because March was so busy.  So I am really excited about this. I signed up to be a cheerleader and perhaps this would be something you would be interested in.  There are usually 1000 participants so it is really great to have as many cheerleaders as possible.  I can't wait to get started reading.

How was your week?

  1. I need to watch Daredevil, but I have so many other shows that I watch right now and so little time to do everything. Maybe once everything gets to the off season, I can watch Daredevil. My husband has been binge watching Dexter. He loves it. I've seen a few episodes and it's pretty cool.

I've always want to participate in a read-a-thon, but once I sign up, I know things are going to happen to prevent me from participating. It alway seems to be the case. Good luck to you with it!

  2. I've only done one readathon. They tend to fall when I just don't have time, but best of luck to you! I'm doing okay on reading, but I would like to read a bit faster - and I REALLY need to get caught up on all my book reviews. lol

  3. I love Netflix! I watch it on my Kindle when I'm cooking dinner or reading or things like that. I'll have to look for Daredevil. I haven't watched it. I really want to do the readathon but I'm not sure how I can manage it with a 5 year old. It does sound like such fun though and I definitely could use some more reading time! Have a great week!

  4. Ooh GoT party sounds like fun - you should start charging an entry fee though - to pay for renovation on your house (and maybe you can call in the Property Brothers LOL)

I do like that Netflix puts up all the episodes at once too - it's sad to have to wait for the next season, but that instant gratification of watching all the eps kinda makes up for it! :)

  5. I have a lot of shows to watch right now too! That is why I think binging the show made a huge difference to me getting things done. I hope that I have a lot of time that day to read in the readathon. I have been trying to get a lot of reading done since I really fell behind in March.

  6. The 24 hour readathon is the hardest. I never plan on reading 24 hours straight so I am amazed on how a lot of people actually do it. There are even cheerleaders at 2 am getting people to keep reading. We'll see how things go for me.

  7. I am starting to love Netflix more and more. When we first subscribed I barely watching it because I had enough to watch. Then I started watching Supernatural on it and really became hooked. I still want to start Gilmore Girls on Netflix.... just need to make the time. A bunch of shows I watch are coming to an end so that is freeing up a lot of my TV time.

  8. The GoT party was fun. That is like the fastest hour of all time. I swear one minute we are sitting there getting started and then the hour is over. Property Brothers need to come to my house. I follow them on Instagram thinking it would be like decorating tips but it's not. Just the two brothers goofing off.
