Q:  If you had to spend eternity inside the pages of a book which book would you choose and why? 

 Wow such a good question!  And I just don't want to pick only the normal answer, which is of course Harry Potter.  But I feel a lot of people might pick that. So I am going to pick the 39 Clues series.  This is a great series full of adventure, traveling, clue hunting,  and a CAT!  I also just found out that starting December 25th there will be a short story released for .99 cents for 6 days!  I am very excited about this!!  For those of you who have been interested in the series but haven't read it I found a blog today that is giving away book 1-10.  Go here to enter:  39 clue series giveaway

Dear Santa,

I really don't buy book since I read so many and it is so expensive.. so a free book would be great!!  One of my favorite series is the Seven Kingdoms series: including Graceling by Kristen Cashore , and Fire by Kristin Cashore .  And I would just be in heaven if I could get an arc of Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore!

I love anthologies... and I always pick up the ones that have a Charlaine Harris story in them so I had to read this and it was GREAT!  Here is the goodreads description:

These stories were great! I loved the mysteries and got introduced to so many new authors. One of the things I really liked about this anthology is that the stories were much longer then I am used to. Instead of taking 15 minutes to read a story could take an hour or more. Which means I got to know the characters so much better. Zombies, witches, murder, just all the stuff that makes urban fantasy fun. The stories take place from Babylon and ancient Rome to colonial Jamaican slave revolts to the Aleutians during WWII to Victorian England to modern-day Denver.

This book is quite expensive though, and I did get my copy from the library.  It is also long so be ready to put some time into it. I am looking for anthologies similar to this one so if anyone has a suggestion please tell me about it!!

I love Lauren Conrad's style, so I had to pick up this book!  Here is the goodreads description:

I enjoyed this book... but most of it was stuff I learned from other manners books. But this would be GREAT for a teenager. I loved the pictures and of course I took some for this blog.. Here are just a few:

As you can see.. the book is full of pictures that will help readers understand just what LC is talking about!  Different purses you should have in your wardrobe, the different types of shoes, and even a couple of hair styles including her famous side braid.. which I am dying to try out!  She is such a cute girl and really acts like she is just like you and I in the book.  Love it!!  If you are looking for a last minute gift for a teen girl (or boy if he likes style) then this is it.  I need to check out her line at Khols!  I don't shop there much but this makes me want to go and take a peek.

This week from the library I received Harry Potter Page to Screen (can't wait to review this book it is EPIC!!), Down These Strange Streets a new anthology including a Charlaine Harris story, The Night Circus, and The Annotated Phantom Tollbooth.   I am playing the new Zelda at the same time as trying to read these books so I hope to get them done before they are due back!!
