The idea behind Bloggiesta is to spend these next two days working
on perfecting your blog and connecting with other bloggers who are doing
the same thing. Spread the word and get all your friends to come and
fiesta with us! If you haven’t heard about Bloggiesta before, it’s a weekend (June 13-14) where we all sit down to work on our blogs, do those things
we keep putting off, as well as network and meet new bloggers and
participate in challenges and giveaways. Definitely check it out, it’s a
lot of fun!
I will update just this one post here so people don't keep seeing the
same post over and over again. So head here if you want to see my
updates! I missed Spring Bloggiesta so I really need to do some catching up. Here are my goals:
1. I do this every time. I moderate two book clubs on goodreads (Stephen King Fans and the Young Adult Book Club)
and I need to moderate all the posts that happen on there. I need to
read through each and every thread/topic and use this weekend to do it
since it takes so long and I have to stay caught up on it.
2. Comment on blogs participating in Bloggiesta
3. Go through blogs I follow and stop following the ones that no longer
blog, or that I don't stop by and visit. Has anyone else noticed that
every now and then Bloglovin throws in blogs for you to follow that you
never followed before???
4. Back up Blog.
I'll add more to my list as I read other people's list and they give me more ideas for things to do!
Great list! A good mix of work and fun!
ReplyDeleteGood list! I should also add backup my blog, always forget about it. About Bloggiesta, yes! I also need to update my blog lists but there should be like an option to easily see the blogs that are inactive.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I love the idea of the 50 Bookish Things I want to Do Before I Die.
Seems like a realistic goal for two days! :) Good luck ... I'm rooting for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
ReplyDeleteI know... I wish that I too could just easily see how long a blog has been inactive and be able to delete it from there.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!!
ReplyDeleteOOh 50 Bookish Things...intriguing! I think it would be cool to go on a literary tour somewhere! Good luck with your goals. I really need to schedule more posts for the rest of June/beginning of July.

Great ideas! Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteWonderful list good luck. I love these things they make me so productive.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with Bloggiesta! I should do it too- I'm so behind on my review archive it's not even funny. I need to check out your comic too- looks like I mised one. Marvel's stuff isn't doing it for me- none of it has good art, and the stories are whatever. I need some new ideas comic wise. :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great list! Good luck on everything, especially moderating your two book club. That seems to be the most daunting of all your tasks! :)
ReplyDeleteI missed the last Bloggiesta and the last Mini Bloggiesta, so I'm really happy to join in again this weekend! I haven't noticed that thing with Bloglovin' but I don't really use it as a feed reader that often.
ReplyDeleteGoing through my bloglovin list is a great idea! I don't use that as much as I should, I think I will add that to my goals for next bloggiesta and get to using that a little more to keep up.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with all your goals, Angela!
Wow! You have a lot of work ahead of you this weekend! About how many posts do you think you have to read through on goodreads? Good luck! I hope you get everything done!
ReplyDeleteGoing through Bloglovin is a good idea too, but one that I never seem to do! ;)
Thanks for visiting Angela, I love your blog design :) I'm going to join the GR page you have for YA. Btw I do the same thing, I just update my Signup post and use it as my update post and wrap up post, I just don't want to do 7 posts for one-week read-a-thons or events.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I backed up my blog last night and can't figure out why I keep putting it off since it's so easy! I keep meaning to put together a bookish bucket list, but can't come up with 50 things. Good luck with your goals!
ReplyDeleteTerri @ Alexia's Books and Such...
Hope you're getting lots done today!
ReplyDeleteI always say I am going to do those 50 Bookish Things List but never get around to it. I need to do it soon and start marking things off.
ReplyDeleteHope you got a lot done!
ReplyDeleteI know... I am hoping for some more neat events coming up. About to go and look around the blogs and find some.
ReplyDeleteUghhhh... I am still working on some of the things I wanted to do and it's Monday!! Blog work is hard to do. I also need to read 3 comics tonight that are going to be due back tomorrow. So much to do.
ReplyDeleteThat is always hard to keep up with... I have been slacking on the goodreads groups as much as I have on the blog the last couple months. Tonight I am catching up on all the comments I haven't done on the blog. Feels good to get on here and catching up.
ReplyDeleteI don't use Bloglovin that often either. Really I just check it to see if I have new followers. I use Blogger for my feed. I really love the way it looks and feels so I have stuck with Blogger feed for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI know... it can be hard to keep blog lists that you follow updated. It is time consuming. I didn't end up doing it this weekend and I really should've. I will probably work on it during the week.
ReplyDeleteWho knows how many posts on goodreads. I thought I got through a lot of them, then went back and looked and realized I have soooo many!! Unless maybe the ones I read weren't marked "as read". Ughhhh who knows!!
ReplyDeleteI think having too many Blogiesta posts is kind of spam. So I try to just keep the one going all during the event. I love to cheer people on so I hope you did well during the event.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't backed up my blog in a long long time. I feel guilty about it actually. If my blog had crashed I would've been so upset I didn't take the time to do it. Hope you had fun during the event.
