I love Stephen King's short stories!!! They are just fabulous!!   Some of these I have read so it's nice to see them in a collection.

  1. I've been wanting to read Stephen King for awhile now and this looks interesting. Short stories may be a great way to try him out versus attempting some of his books which can have a rather staggering page count.

  2. Can't wait for this! I love King's short stories. I think my favorite is probably "Lunch at the Gotham Cafe" but it might be "Children of the Corn." There's a great variety of stuff, though. His batting average is unreasonably high with short fiction. (Maybe with all his fiction!)

I've read about half of these and the other half will be new to me. (I love "Ur" and "Mile 81" quite a bit.)

  3. Oh my gosh! That cover is all sorts of awesome. I love King's books and even though I don't like short stories, his are always fascinating.

I like short stories!! This one sounds like a good one as I haven't read much from Stephen King... I did notice that one of the stories, Blockade Billy, is listed, which I listened to the audio version of last year.

  6. I have yet to read anything by Stephen King, but I have heard great things. Might pick this up since it has a bunch of his short stories, seems like a good place to start.

  9. I'm looking forward to this too. This and Finders Keepers by King. I know the latter is out already but my book buying budget is non existent right now and I have to own King's books.

  10. I do think short stories will help you get a feel for his writing. Then you don't invest in a huge book that you just don't have the time for when there are other books that can be read. I always suggest that to people.

  11. I think the only one I've read from this is Morality... so I am glad a lot of these have been collected in a book. I get so excited over King short stories. I like that I can sit there and be terrified for like 1 hour and then the story is over.

  12. The cover of this book is super cool. There is a moving one... but it was like a Youtube video instead of a gif so I didn't post it. Not sure why the did it that way since people can't really embed it into a post.

  13. There is going to be a lot of stories here that people have read. But most are new to me so that is good. I try to push King on everyone so I suggest you read more of his books! LOL!

  14. His short stories are a good place to start because you can get a feel for his writing without getting too into a long book. That way you can sit down, read a story in an hour and then quit.

  15. I almost forgot this one was coming out myself. Finders Keepers keeps getting the most attention lately... so this one wasn't even on my mind.

  18. Mr Mercedes was a great mystery novel and I'm really excited to get to Finders Keepers some day soon I hope. I still need to read Revival. I see you're reading Doctor Sleep. I really liked that one too. I look forward to your review.
