Follow Me Friday (#7)

Question this week:  “Share your favorite post from the last month and tell us why it’s close to your heart!”

My favorite post from last month was the one where I got to meet Charlaine Harris at her book signing!!!  Charlaine Harris!!!    It is close to my heart because I have always been a fan of hers... even before the books were in hardback!  My first three books are paperback and I still haven't bought the hardbacks to replace them.

Q. What are you doing to prepare for an upcoming zombie apocalypse and/or the return of Mel Gibson to the silver screen? (Both of which could be terrifying.) 

I am so ready for the Zombie Apocalypse.  For one thing I am a member of the Zombie Squad, second I have read all the Max Brooks Books  ,  I joined the Zombies group on goodreads, and of course I have my Lord of the Rings swords ready to take the Zombies out!

    Loving the armaments. :) Stylish and useful in the event of zombie invasion - every home should have one.

    It is awesome that you got to meet Charlaine Harris - I always imagine her as being really friendly.

    So cool that you got to meet Charlaine! I saw her at RT last year but of course it was absolutely crazy!

    I have the first 4 books in paperback as well! Started reading them around the release of book 5 so I waited out the 4th one moving to paperback to save $$. Funny how the HBs started out at $22.95 and are now $27.95! Times are so changing...

    You have swords! Are they sharp? Make sure they're sharp you don't want to be going out zombie hunting with a dull blade. If I'm getting a weopon its going to have to be long range I can't be getting up close and personal with decomposing bodies.

    Oh you lucky devil, you got to meet Charlaine Harris. I'll bet she was seriously awesome. I love and am terribly addicted to the Sookie Stackhouse series and I cannot wait for True Blood to come back to me. I've been missing me some Eric/Sookie something furious! ;)
