In honor of the season 2 premier of Game of Thrones my friend bought this cookbook so we tried a few recipes tonight. Turns out there is also a review out in Entertainment Weekly!! EW Article Here is the goodreads description of the book:

This book is fun. All kinds of recipes with a variety of foods to use. Such as pigeons, eel, goat, rabbit, anything you would expect to find in Game of Thrones. Though after my friend bought this book I found out that there is a official book game out with an intro by George RR Martin called A Feast of Ice and Fire . Who knew?
So we made two recipes out of the unofficial cookbook. One was ribs and one was an apple pie type recipe. My friend took the book or I would know the apple pit recipe name. The rib recipe you can see below
Here is what the inside of the book looks like:
I own the Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook but have never tried any of those recipes and after reading this cook book I might just have to do that (that cookbook was free on my Nook from Barnes and Noble). And I hear there is an unofficial Hunger Games cookbook too!!
I am giving this book four kitties! Only because some of the ingredients are going to be hard to find!!
