Follow Me Friday- Kickstarter for book to movie!

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

This is the day of the week where we get to know each other better by answering a question devised by our lovely hostesses Parajunkee & Alisoncanread. Sounds like GFC is eventually going away..  so you may want to follow by email or bloglovin/feedly (I love both). And now for this week's question....

Q.  It is up to you to do a kickstarter campaign for your favorite book! Who are you casting for the main characters???

A.

Wow this is a tough question!    This is for my followers who love Dungeons and Dragons and have read the Drizzt series.  This is a series based in the Dungeons and Dragons universe but if you like fantasy you will still enjoy the series.  For those who want to know more about this here is the wikipedia link : Drizzt series by RA Salvatore.

This series I think would be a wonderful fantasy TV series.  There has already been a lot of artwork about the series, so the readers already have an idea of what the characters might look like.  Here is some of the artwork.

Here is Drizzt the main character.  He is a dark elf

I have seen a lot of people casting someone who is white to play Drizzt in a movie... but he is clearly of black skin.  I like Wesley Snipes from when he did the blade movies.  I think he would be perfect!
Here is Catti-bree.  She is a human....  so Emma Watson with short hair would be perfect.

Here is Wulfgar (on the right) he is a human warrior .  He is sooo strong and when I saw the movie Thor I know Chris Hemsworth was perfect!

So these are my choices... not sure who has read this series but I would love to know who you would cast in this movie!!
What did you pick this week?  Also... in case you haven't noticed this is the Wonderful Wizard of Oz month here at my blog.  Be sure to check out the posts all month long and enter my giveaway for Classics Retold!  Have fun! Click on the image below to get to the giveaway.

  1. Wow you are much better at this than I am. I can never decide who I think would be good in certain rolls because I can't get past how I envision the characters in my head.

So glad to see you got a FF post this week. Still working on mine.

    1. These books are great... but you have to like high fantasy I think.
