Follow Friday
This is the day of the week where we get to know each other better by answering a question devised by our lovely hostesses Parajunkee & Alisoncanread. Thanks to those bloggers for hosting! Be sure to stop by their blogs to see the featured blogger of the week and to see the list of blogs who are also participating. And now for this week's question....
Here is $100,000. What would you do with it?
Ok to be honest I would invest it. But since this is make believe and for a book blog... I would maybe buy a library like the one in Beauty and the Beast, and build a fantastic home theater in my house. Right now I just googled library/home theater together and I found some amazing looks!! So I'll build them together!!
What about you???

Right now I'd totally use that amount of money on my yard but yes, that home theater/library is an awesome idea too.

Ughhh... the dreaded yard. We are putting up a new deck right now and it's a nightmare.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love that library/cinema room you've pictured...... oh to have the kind of money you'd need to own a house with a room like that, what a dream!

Oooh that is nice!! Like that room...but I find myself wanting to separate the two. Because when I come in my library to read, I'm sure someone's going to want to watch TV and that's a no-no for reading time! LOL!

Have a GREAT day!

Wow, that movie/book room is amazing!

That library is awesome. I’m a new Bloglovin’ follower.
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with your response! I guess I am a little bit frivolous! New follower:(
ReplyDeleteI love the picture. I would want that too, but I'm trying practicality
ReplyDeleteYes all the way to a library. Beauty and the Beast has been my favorite movie since first grade and I've always wanted that library. I have a "library" at my home but it's just one of the rooms in our finished attic. My dream is to have a fantastic library and a Victorian powder room. Haha! Good luck getting your fantastic library some day!
ReplyDeleteNew follower!
My FF!
Wow, this entertainment library is amazing. If I could build a house I would make this room in a heart beat. I do agree with you though. If I had been given that much money I would invest it also. I work in corporate for a large investment firm and in my little over a year I have learned the importance of investing.
ReplyDeleteThat room looks like my dream come true. I mentioned the Beauty and the Beast library on another blog... that would be a perfect home library for me... LOL! Throw in an enormous screen tv and a stereo with surround sound that shook the books in their stacks, some super comfy chairs, and I'd never leave that room. LOL! New follower!

Ooooh yes! Love that theater/library combination! Except I think there might be some fighting between my movie watching husband and my reading self.
ReplyDeleteOf course investing is the smart option. LOL! Wish I had better knowledge about all that kind of stuff.
I haven’t done a follow Friday in such a long time. It never worked very well for me, since very few people actually followed back and then I was following a bunch of blogs I ended up not being interested in. But it can be fun and really helpful to keeping your blog active, can’t it? And you button is too sweet for it, even though the red queen looks mad (which, lets be honest, isn’t surprising)!
ReplyDeleteOoh... while I don't think I'd be able to combine a library and a home theater- too much temptation either way to be all together!- it's such a neat idea. Having a Beauty and the Beast-esq library would be BEAUTIFUL. One day. One day. xxx
Thanks for stopping by!!
ReplyDeleteI think it would be a dream too. I mean... HELLO!! I already read and watch TV together anyways.
ReplyDeleteYou are opposite from me... I am all about reading and watching TV at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI haven't participated in Follow Friday in a long time either. It seemed to me that no one was really doing it anymore. I think the only people who do it are new to blogging and have no idea what they are doing. I typically get up to 5 new followers. Not sure if they are what I would call real followers.. I don't know if I see them come back and visit again. I just get a wild hair every now and then and participate.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI think there are probably a lot of people on the Follow Friday this week who are going to pick the Beauty and the Beast library.
ReplyDeleteI invest money... though I don't know if I am doing it right or not. It is confusing. I have even read books on it. Since I don't work though the only money I invest is the money my husband makes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for Stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by... we all need a big library.
ReplyDeleteThanks... let's be honest... $100,000 probably wouldn't be enough to make that room.
ReplyDeleteLOLOL!!! Being practical is the way to go.
ReplyDeleteI have a library here at my house too. I do love it. I also have a home theater. The two are in separate rooms though.. to merge them together would be AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteInvest, invest, invest. I did have an IRA and just moved it though. Last year it made $15. um... that investment was not working. Which was too bad. I need to invest it somewhere different just not sure where yet.
ReplyDeleteHA! It would be an amazing to not only have what you said.. but watch Beauty and the Beast while in this library!! I do have a library but am not in it as much as I thought I would be. I spend time in the living room in front of the TV more then I would like to admit.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! I'd still build mine separate, but it is a cool idea. I want the library from Beauty and the Beast as well.
