This is the day of the week where we get to know each other better by answering a question devised by our lovely hostesses Parajunkee & Alisoncanread. Sounds like GFC is eventually going away.. so you may want to follow by email or bloglovin/feedly (I love both). And now for this week's question....
Q. Feature your own favorite blogger, have it be a surprise.
A. I love love to feature bloggers! I think it's fun. Usually I always learn something new about them too. This Follow Me Friday I am going to feature is Brunner's Bookshelf. Chris is the mastermind behind this blog. He and I actually met through goodreads on the Stephen King's Fans group. While there...we discovered with both read graphic novels. After a few messages back and forth about whether or not Chris should start blogging he dove on in.
I asked him a few quick questions:
Why do you blog? how long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging since July of this year. I decided to start blogging because eventually I want to be a writer. My wife and a few friends said I should get myself out there and blogging was the way to do it.
What is your favorite genre of books?
My Favorite genre is Mystery and Horror. Jeffery Deaver, and Stephen King are my favorites. I also love the original Sherlock Holmes books.
Do you have blogging advice for others?
Well, I haven't been doing this for that long but I guess I would have to say don't stress over it. That was my biggest hurdle. I felt like I needed to post everyday and that isn't the case.
I know you love graphic novels, like myself... what got you started reading them?
Well when I was a kid I saw the Michael Keaton Batman. Sure I was only 6 but I was already a huge Batman fan. I also got the movie adaptation of Batman. I watched that movie so many times that I knew what the words were based on the pictures from the movie. This is how I learned to read, the Batman movie and comic book. After that I was hooked on comics.
Be sure to check out Brunner's Bookshelf!
Thank you so much for featuring me. I love the button you made for my site. You have been a big help getting my blog going and I can't thank you enough.
ReplyDeleteWell I didn't end up having time to edit it. You can use Pixlr to add some font to it.
