Fall Bloggiesta

Happy Bloggiesta! I almost missed it this time around but here I am. I really didn't feel like I have alot to get done on the blog itself.  I had a new template done recently and have been contemplating on whether or not to go back and fix all the book reviews and posts to match the new blog design.  But honestly that is going to be a LOT of work.  I have been blogging for years so to go back and correct formatting just seems daunting to me.  Perhaps if I was a huge blog I might.

Sooo..

- Participate in mini-challenges.  I usually learn a lot from these.
-Visit blogs participating.
-Back up Blog... I actually haven't done this for a while now.
-Read! One thing I am behind in is reading.  I mean.. this is a book blog afterall!
-Update Blog Roll

OK... so that is all for now.  I am hoping around to other blogs to see what they have on their lists to give me ideas to add to mine.  That always happens.  Good luck everyone!

  4. I LOVE that you have reading on your list! I have reading other blogs on my list. ;) I've been spending so much time reading lately that everything else has kind of fallen off. I'm not sure if I'll officially participate or not but I'll definitely be checking out some of the mini-challenges!

  9. Good luck with all your goals this time around! there is a lot I need to do, but I don't have a lot of time in the next couple weeks. I really just need to write out reviews and schedule more posts, for the most part.

  12. Backing up your blog is always a good idea! I should do it more often myself. I hope you have a great time reading. I always feel like it's hard to balance reading and working on my blog during blogging events, but I like to be able to do both.

  13. This bloggiesta wasn't really that great. It seems I am getting more done on the blog tonight then I did when actually doing Bloggiesta!

  15. This time around I didn't find very many mini-challenges that were helpful to me. Well one... about anchors. But otherwise that was it this time around.

  16. I feel you with writing out more posts that go further out. One day I should just sit down for like 12 hours and just write a bunch of posts out.

  18. I was in a little blogging slump for a minute there. I didn't even want to work on the blog. Sometimes every now and then I want a co-blogger. But I would have to be close with them.

  19. Hope the challenge went well for you. Since I moved over to WordPress I've contemplated going back and reformatting posts. Right now I'm just taking it week by week. If I review a book by an author I've already ready read, I go back and fix that post so if people jump over and read it, it will be readable.

I was lucky with my move, I had the option of having my hosting site automatically back of my blog. I think every 3-4 days the entire site is backed up. However, I probably need to keep a backup locally in case something happens to my service provider.
