Sunday Post

Let's chat about what's going on this week... on my blog.. on other blogs... on the internet... and just everywhere!    I link up my post to Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves.

I am excited to announce that the new blog look is finally up and running.   Woot Woot!!  I am feeling 100% better after the pneumonia.

On the blog:
-I review  The Book of Three by Llyod Alexander
- Max the Curse of Brotherhood Video Game Review  finally I beat another game!
-Top Ten Tuesday- Classic Books where I do a nifty graphic that I made
-I tell you all about my goodreads Book Club July Picks
- Comic Adventures Issue #14  features Batman, Guardians of the Galaxy, Jack of Fables, Justice League
-New Wonderland Look  Let's talk about the new blog look

Around the Blogospere:
-Books a True Story asks how do you deal with racism in classic novels?
-For Review VS For Review Consideration is really interesting by On Starships and Dragonwings.  Do you take the reviews books you get seriously??  This is why I don't really get a lot of ARCs.  I don't feel I have enough time to commit to them.
-What's on Netflix that is bookish??  Here is a list by Book Riot

Internet:
I love love Fireworks.  Happy 4th of July everyone!  Here is an amazing video where someone flies a drone into a Fireworks show.  It is really actually amazing.  I love drone videos.  Come neat things can be done with them.

Books Books Books:
Just finished Cress.  Look for the review this week.  About to start Mary Poppins for my Next Project Disney this week. I am excited to give that book a shot.  There are plenty of graphic novels/comics that I need to catch up on too.

  9. The blog looks great Angie!! I'm very impressed with all the designing and coordination. And fireworks. Sigh. I love them but not when my 3 year old decides she's scared and won't go to sleep until 10:30 (we couldn't see them from our house...just hear them). Maybe in a few years we can go back to loving them. LOL! Hope you had a great holiday!

  11. I know a lot of people with kids have issues with fireworks. People with pets sometimes have problems with them too. I often wonder about that in my neighborhood... there are fireworks that go off every weekend for the local baseball home games.

  16. I don't think that this is the type of cyborgs you are used to. Though there is some space in the book.. but nothing is scary or should make you scared I don't think. It is kind of a good mixture of fantasy/sci-fi. I think it's just unique to anything I have read in a while.
