Teaser Tuesday (#4)




Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week's teaser comes from the book Matched by Ally Condie .  I chose to read this book because it is my book club's pick this month, YA Book Club.  Feel free to stop by and read the discussions or comment yourself if you are apart of Goodreads!  Here are the teaser lines I picked:
"But if you were Matched," I say softly, "What do you think she'd be like?"
"You," he says, almost before I've finished. "You."

    I've stayed away from this book since I read Deliruim first. I've now heard they are so similar but if you like one you wont like the other. So, I need distance before I pick this one up. Nice tease though my dear.

    Did you read Guilty Pleasures first? Really. Wow. I read the first book in high school and devoured all the rest in about a week.

    I wonder how similar this book and Delirium are, especially since I have read neither. How are you enjoying this one so far?
