Follow Me Friday

This is the day of the week where we get to know each other better by answering a question devised by our lovely hostesses Parajunkee & Alisoncanread. Q. What do you do with your books after your done reading them?


A. Well this is easy for me... I return them to the library! I would say 99% of my books come from the library.  I love my library.  I read sooo many books and I just don't have the money to buy all of them. I go to my library on the same day every week and return what I am done with and pick up what's new.  I love it.. I get books, video games, and movies from there.  Now for this epic cat move!

    Hopping through. That is the most adorable kitten gif!!! I like getting books from the library too although now that I've moved to a smaller city the supply at the library isn't as good.

      I am so thankful I live in a city with a big library system. I hear about people all the time whose library doesn't have very many books.

    OMG, the cat made me laugh so hard! I love my library too :) They always have the books I'm looking for, except audios.

      My library does always have the ebooks I want. That is more the publisher then the library though.

    Wow, I haven't borrowed books from the library in ages! But then most of the books I read, they don't have in my libraries anyways.

    But wow that cat! I had to stare at it for a while before reading this post. :)

    LOL. That gif always make me smile. I just want to scoop that cat up. I used to get all my books from the library too, but I'm horrid at returning them on time now that I have kids. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. ♥

      I can't imagine having kids and trying to get to the library. My friend the other day return not only the library books ... but her personally owned kid's books too. Just busy busy with kids!

    I like borrowing books from the library too. However, those that I really like and know I want to peruse over and over, I tend to buy.

      I buy the Sookie books.. Game of Thrones of course. I agree, I do buy the ones I want to read over and over.

    Nice! My library doesn't usually have the books I want to read. I don't mind buying though, it's my only "bad vice"! And I have member discounts and free shipping and coupons, so I do save some! But yeah, I love my books and I tend to keep 99% of them! For the rare book I didn't like I put it in a donate pile that usually goes to the library!

      I used to have a member discount to Barnes and Nobles. But they don't let you use it on the Nook so I quit buying one there.

      When I first started using the library it was hard. But now I am so used to it that when I do keep a book I am in shock.

    Libraries are wonderful! I know you saw my library shelf on my blog - but I have to admit that I also visit my local library as well. Books are definitely my addiction. :)

    Yay for library love! Most of my books come from the library, too, although since I started blogging I have purchased more books that I used to.

    I love my library - but I always work there, so I might be a little biased. :)

      I am lucky.. my library put a drop box right down the street from me in a perfect location!! So now I am not so lazy about returning items.

      I agree... sometimes I do have to wait a few months if a book is super popular. That is the only bad thing about the library.

    Love the epic cat move! I love borrowing books from the library and get most my books that way too. But I really like to own my favorites, and when I borrow a library book that I love I HATE returning it. I feel like I'm saying goodbye to a good friend. then I have to buy it and it goes on my wish list until I can find it on sale (because I'm extremely cheap/broke lol)

      I know.. returning a book that I loved to the library is AWFUL!!! I like to find books on sale too... I usually go to a used book store or the friends of the library sale.

    That's so great that you can use your local library! Ours used to be so good, but they never have new titles in the genres I read and all the books they do have are so damaged with pages falling out etc. It sucks that they can't update the books because I think I'd live at the library if they did! My purse would probably appreciate it too :)
