Q. What do you do with your books after your done reading them?
A. Well this is easy for me... I return them to the library! I would say 99% of my books come from the library. I love my library. I read sooo many books and I just don't have the money to buy all of them. I go to my library on the same day every week and return what I am done with and pick up what's new. I love it.. I get books, video games, and movies from there. Now for this epic cat move!
Also.. I am doing the Reading Road Trip- and I have the state UTAH if you want to check it out! Click here! If this tempts you more.. there is a giveaway!
Hopping through. That is the most adorable kitten gif!!! I like getting books from the library too although now that I've moved to a smaller city the supply at the library isn't as good.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I am so thankful I live in a city with a big library system. I hear about people all the time whose library doesn't have very many books.
DeleteNew to the hop. I also get most of mine from the library. I love my library system.

I just can't afford all the books I read!
DeleteOMG, the cat made me laugh so hard! I love my library too :) They always have the books I'm looking for, except audios.

My FF!
My library does always have the ebooks I want. That is more the publisher then the library though.
DeleteWow, I haven't borrowed books from the library in ages! But then most of the books I read, they don't have in my libraries anyways.
ReplyDeleteBut wow that cat! I had to stare at it for a while before reading this post. :)
I love cats... all should make time to watch cat gifs! :)
DeleteLOL. That gif always make me smile. I just want to scoop that cat up. I used to get all my books from the library too, but I'm horrid at returning them on time now that I have kids. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. ♥

I can't imagine having kids and trying to get to the library. My friend the other day return not only the library books ... but her personally owned kid's books too. Just busy busy with kids!
DeleteI also occasionally borrow books from my school library but mostly I read books which I have bought. But a library is indeed one of the most wonderful places! Here is my post this week: Feature and follow Friday
ReplyDeleteShounak @ Shounak's book reviews
I go in the library and I feel at home. I sometimes just sit in there and read magazines.
DeleteI like borrowing books from the library too. However, those that I really like and know I want to peruse over and over, I tend to buy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :)

I buy the Sookie books.. Game of Thrones of course. I agree, I do buy the ones I want to read over and over.
DeleteNice! My library doesn't usually have the books I want to read. I don't mind buying though, it's my only "bad vice"! And I have member discounts and free shipping and coupons, so I do save some! But yeah, I love my books and I tend to keep 99% of them! For the rare book I didn't like I put it in a donate pile that usually goes to the library!

I used to have a member discount to Barnes and Nobles. But they don't let you use it on the Nook so I quit buying one there.
DeleteI wich my library had some nice books but they never have any I like :(

It is such a bummer to have a library district that really doesn't have the funds to get great and new books.
DeleteOh wow, I can't bare to do that. It would hurt too much lol but good answer!

When I first started using the library it was hard. But now I am so used to it that when I do keep a book I am in shock.
DeleteNew follower via Bloglovin'. Excellent (and inexpensive and environmentally responsible) choice! My FF
ReplyDeleteLOL! Thanks... too bad I only do it because I don't have the money. :)
DeleteLibraries are wonderful! I know you saw my library shelf on my blog - but I have to admit that I also visit my local library as well. Books are definitely my addiction. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Angela! (old GFC & BL follower)
I love love you shelf.. can I say it anymore? Yes I can.. I love your shelf!
DeleteYay for library love! Most of my books come from the library, too, although since I started blogging I have purchased more books that I used to.
ReplyDeleteI love my library - but I always work there, so I might be a little biased. :)
LOL! My husband works at my library ... so maybe I am biased too.
DeleteI used to get a ton of books from the library - then I started blogging! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog! Old follower!

LOL!! Yea.. blogging will do that
DeleteMe and my husband had to watch that cat video for a few minutes. It's kinda mesmerizing!
ReplyDeleteHAHHAAH! I know right? Wish I could get my cats to do some cool stuff on video like that.
DeleteOmg, that gif...LOVE!! I stared at it for like a full minute. I wish I used my library more. I did probably ten years ago, but now I've become to lazy to return books.
ReplyDeleteI am lucky.. my library put a drop box right down the street from me in a perfect location!! So now I am not so lazy about returning items.
DeleteI really should use the library more, but I just don't want to give them back once I'm done!
ReplyDeleteLove the kitty! Wow! That's some hang time :)
Thanks for stopping by this week.

The kitty is pretty EPIC!
DeleteAdorable cat! I used to go to the library all the time. Since my son won't convert to a Kindle, if he wants books we go there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.

I am the only big reader in the house. I can't imagine if I had kids and I had to buy books for them too! $$$$
DeleteI love my library too! It's just a super easy way to get my hands on a lot of books! And it doesn't take up extra book shelf space! New Bloglovin' follower
ReplyDeleteCheck out my FF here, as well as my second blogaversary giveaway!
I agree... sometimes I do have to wait a few months if a book is super popular. That is the only bad thing about the library.
DeleteLove the epic cat move! I love borrowing books from the library and get most my books that way too. But I really like to own my favorites, and when I borrow a library book that I love I HATE returning it. I feel like I'm saying goodbye to a good friend. then I have to buy it and it goes on my wish list until I can find it on sale (because I'm extremely cheap/broke lol)

I know.. returning a book that I loved to the library is AWFUL!!! I like to find books on sale too... I usually go to a used book store or the friends of the library sale.
DeleteI wish my library was better, if it was then my bank balance would be much healthier!
ReplyDeleteBookishTrish @ Between the Lines
LOL! I can't imagine buying everything I read.. especially all the graphic novels.
DeleteThat gif is making me LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool! I feel like my library doesn't have all that many good books, or maybe I just can't find any!

ReplyDeleteThat's so great that you can use your local library! Ours used to be so good, but they never have new titles in the genres I read and all the books they do have are so damaged with pages falling out etc. It sucks that they can't update the books because I think I'd live at the library if they did! My purse would probably appreciate it too :)
