Sunday Post
Let's chat about what's going on this week... on my blog.. on other blogs... on the internet... and just everywhere! I link up my post to Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Reader.
We got our tree up this week... I just love my white tree. It's just fab! We put up lights outside too though I am a little nervous about seeing them go out.. why you ask?? Well... there is a squirrel around here who apparently likes to chew through lights. At Halloween I had lights hung outside and noticed a strand went out. They were older so I figured a bulb went out so the whole string went. I go out to take them down and sure enough it was chewed through.. with light bulbs on the ground even!! Evil squirrel.

We still don't have our tree up yet- we said this weekend but it's not up yet! :) I think we're the only ones in our neighborhood...
ReplyDeleteNice link to the homeless person interview. Puts things in perspective...
Bad, bad squirrel. But maybe it's just Halloween he doesn't like :O
ReplyDeleteAngela, thank you for mentioning my blog in your post! <3
ReplyDeleteWe're putting our tree up tonight! It's one of my favourite December activities... and so beautiful! <3
Cloudy Dreams
I must go check out your author behavior post. It's such a hot button issue of mine!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week!
My Sunday Post!
I hope you have a wonderful week, Angela. I think I ended up commenting on all your posts this week. Of course, since it has been busy at work, they all got commented on today. But better late than never, right? Have a good week!

Second Run Reviews
Trees up, shoppings almost done i. Now I plan to relax and read and watch movies.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your article about Maggie and the Q&A. I've had a couple of awkward moments with authors but nothing really bad. Mostly it was misunderstanding over what each of us was wanting. I'd give her books a go. They are everywhere right now and I feel like I'm the only one not reading them. LOL
here's my Sunday Post - http://fuonlyknew.com/2014/12/07/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-88-and-the-sunday-post/
I know right!! LOL! So far the lights are still there... I've been keeping an eye out!
ReplyDeleteI love to put up the tree too. Every ornament means something to me. I love to take them out and remember where and when I received them.
ReplyDeleteAuthors... I know they are people too. But I mean... so are their readers!!! ERRRR
ReplyDeleteI always check Disqus to see if there are new comments... so never fear I always find the comments!!
ReplyDeleteI try to get my Christmas Shopping done as soon as possible. For one reason I can't stand visiting the post office when it is super busy. It just is awful. Maggie's books are quite popular, which is one of the reasons I thought to myself why would I let the Q&A bother me. I mean... when McDonald's messes up my order I keep going back for more right?? LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny... the squirrel ate the orange lights but not the purple lights even though they were connected. Maybe it was the color or something. That squirrel was like "I hate orange" LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteAw, your poor lights! I hope the Christmas ones stay nice. :) my family doesn't usually put up a tree until closer to Christmas. We get a real one, and we love to have it up for as long as possible after Christmas so it's best to get it last minute.

Oh, that DC book looks AWESOME! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteA squirrel chewed through your cord? Oh, bad bad bad squirrel! Not to mention dangerous. I hope your Christmas lights survive!
I would love to have a real tree. Going to maybe try to have one next year. I would love to have the smell in my house. I don't even know how much they cost! I think my friend got one for like $65. That is the only thing. Spending that much and throwing it away.
ReplyDeleteI know... it is amazing how many wires my cats have chewed and still live!
ReplyDeleteCongrats in winning DC Comics A Visual History :)

My daughters and I will decorate this evening, we haven't had the time to do it yet. How does that squirrel not get electrocuted lol ? Enjoy your week !
ReplyDeleteSquirrels - they ate my jackolantern one year, and chewed through the plastic "window" on our (not at all) squirrel-proof bird feeder to get at the seeds. We had to replace it with glass. . . so the enterprising squirrels simply figured out several other ways to get around the so-called squirrel proofing. They are clever - but not so clever if he's chewing electrical wiring!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week, and enjoy your DC Comics history - it looks great!
