I am going to participate again in this read-a-thon! It is my 3rd time. I really need to get caught up on some books and when I saw others participating in it I knew it was perfect for me. It starts on the 19th!
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 19th and runs through Sunday, August 25th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 8.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.
Don't forget to use the #boutofbooks hashtag when updating on Twitter and follow boutofbooks.
I will be updating my progress here on my webpage and on my my twitter page.
I will be doing a master post as the read-a-thon gets closer with all the books I plan to read and with all the challenges I do! Can't wait to get started!

I've wanted to read Every Day for a while! Awaken was a DNF for me, I hope you enjoy it more than I did. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI just want to get the Underworld series done... so I need to get Awaken out of the way. Hopefully I can at least finish it and it doesn't stink too much!
DeleteThose 3 books look amazing. I especially want to see what you think on Every Day but I have to say GOOD LUCK on the challenge. I am sure you will do amazing. ^^

DeleteAwww it's always gutting when BoB falls on a busy week. I have my fingers crossed that work won't suddenly get hectic as when it's quiet I can sneak in a bit of readathon actvity during the day.
ReplyDeleteI know.. I am sooo bummed that boutofbooks is THIS week!
DeleteEeek! Good luck! I'm also finishing off books I'm part way through.
ReplyDeleteLauren

DeleteI can't wait to see your review of Every Day, I'm pretty curious about that one. I have been debating so much on whether or not to join this bout of books- university starts up this week. Good luck!

DeleteHaha, I'm in the same boat: want to read (a LOT), but don't really have the time for it :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!!!
It turns out I have more time then I thought!
DeleteAll three of these books sound interesting. I think a couple are already on my to read list. Need to check and make sure they're on there.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can find the time to read. It seems like there is never enough time for reading.
That's for sure.... I just want to read 24/7!
DeleteNice choices! I loved Prodigy and Awaken is on my TBR. Thanks for posting about your cats, it is very difficult, but worth it.
ReplyDeleteLove my furbabies!
DeleteI'm staying with my family this week too; my dad just had surgery, actually just got out of the hospital today. So, at least I don't have so much driving back and forth to do... but I don't know how much reading time I'll have while helping around the house. Good luck to you!
ReplyDeleteThank you... good luck to you. It is hard to help family and then tell them you need a time out to read! :)
DeleteYou certainly had a busy Monday! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteWow you got a lot done yesterday! I'll have to check out your review of Every Day. I've heard mixed things about it.

ReplyDeleteGreat reading choices :-) I want to read them all, especially Prodigy! Are you enjoying that one?
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's just fun to have a relaxed Bout of Books without too much reading!
ReplyDeleteI'm also losing the motivation to read. Only managed to finish one book and read another one this week. Hopefully the weekend will be better.
ReplyDeleteI had a lot of fun with this event. Thanks for telling me about it. I am also glad I'm not the only one who lost steam towards the end.
ReplyDeleteLife happens and sometimes reading has to take a back seat.
I need to check out your review for American Gods, I am very interested in this book.
