Top Ten Tuesday-Books I Bought But Have Never Read

Monday, March 18, 2013
The Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish.  This week's Top Ten is ten book I bought but still haven't read. Honestly... I really don't have too many of these because I mainly use the library to get my books.  But there are some books that I have bought or have been given to me as gifts that I haven't had a chance to read yet.

1. Insomnia by Stephen King

2. The Passage by Jusin Cornin

3. Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

4. Inheritance by Christopher Paolini

5. From a Buick 8 by Stephen King

6. Watchers by Dean Koontz

7. The Witching Hour by Anne Rice

8. The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan

9. The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

10. American Gods by Neil Gaiman

What's on your list that you need to get to?

  1. Hey another Stephen King lover *high five* :D
I read 'From a Buick 8' not one of the best but interesting enough. You should give it a try! 'Insomnia' is still on my tbr too...
As for the rest, I only read 'American Gods' by Neil Gaiman, amazing book if you love mythology and urban fantasy.
Thanks for stopping by my TTT. :)

  5. You have to read American Gods! It's excellent. But be careful about The Eye of the World. The series have serious issues!

  9. The Angel's Game is one I was eagerly anticipating, because I LOVED Shadow of the Wind. I think I checked it out from the library immediately, returned it unread, bought it and still didn't read it. OOPS.

  13. I remember reading like, a third of The Passage and then giving up. It was so heavy and confusing. I had not idea what was going on. I watched Water for Elephants (the movie), and thought it was amazing, so I should probably read the book as well. Awesome list!

  14. I absolutely loved Water For Elephants, it was a great historical fiction novel. The movie was also pretty good. I need to start the Inheritance Cycle at at point...

Thank you for stopping by my blog. :)

  16. I think I'm in the only person in the world who didn't love American Gods. It's amusing enough, and I do love me some ambiguous demons, but eh.

  18. I really love some of these books, and hate some others.

    1. Insomnia - It was the cure for insomnia

    2. The Passage - Loved it, you need to read it, and I need to read the second book.

    6. Watchers - My favorite Koontz book, love it.

    7. The Witching Hour - Other than Taltos, this seris is awesome.

    8. The Eye of the World - How can you have this and not read it. The entire series is awesome and you need to get on it as soon as possible.

    10. American Gods - Enjoyed it, but didn't care for the sequel.

  21. I really enjoyed The Passage, but I'm a little biased since I love anything zombie-ish. Good luck dusting off those books, and thanks for visiting my blog. :)
