Q. Merry Christmas! What books did Santa stuff your stocking with this year? Do a holiday book haul. PICTURES!!

A. Well I didn't get a huge book haul like some people may get.  But I did get a Yoga book and a pocket edition of the Hobbit that both my husband and I are going to share (hahah!!).  I am also getting a new tablet with some money I received... I have the Nook Color but Barnes and Nobles isn't really updating that anymore.  I think I am going to get Nexus 7, my mom got a new Nook HD but I am a little nervous about Nook since I don't know if they will keep the Nook going or not.  I don't really feel like taking a picture... lazy OK!  Sooo you will just have to imagine how cool that Hobbit book is.

  2. I've seen that pocket edition of The Hobbit - it's a very nice one and so compact! :D Yeah, your reason for not getting a Nook HD is pretty much MY reason for not getting one. New GFC, Bloglovin and Twitter follower!

    1. My mom is loving it. We picked up the Nexus 7 for me today. I am trying it out. I kinda wish I had bought the Nook to keep the Nook market going. But really though I can at least still use the Nook app.

  7. Heehee! That sounds kinda funny, but cool! I keep debating about updating my kindle. It's the original one with the keyboard. Mostly I think of going to the paperwhite so I can buy an e-graphic novel. But it's a thought in progress!

    1. Truth is ... I have a hard time reading graphic novels on my ereader (Nook Color). I just think that the art just doesn't come through the same like it does on paper.

  8. I still need to read the hobbit! But the pocket edition sounds super cute, I'm going to have to look out for it :0) Additionally I love your blog, it has a lovely colour theme.

  9. The Hobbit pocket edition? Is that like a really small condensed version? And laziness over the holidays - totally acceptable!

    1. It is a small condensed version. Maybe I should've posted a picture afterall since everyone seems really interested in it.

  14. Wow! A pocket edition of The Hobbit? That would be really cute. xD Have you already watched the two movies? If so, did you love it? I must say that though I enjoyed the book, I still prefer the film adaptations even if they're modified. Hahahah.

    1. I loved the second movie ... the first movie I didn't love as much. I thought it got a little boring. I've read the book a few times. One time I loved it another time I loathed it. I think I just have to be in the mood for the Hobbit book!
