Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful blog at
The Broke and the Bookish! This is where we post our top ten based on bookish topics. This week's topic is finding book covers that we would frame as art. Forgive me if you have seen this post before. I actually did it the week we were allowed to pick a topic of our own. I saw this on someone's blog so I thought it was a previous topic and I come to find out that it was a unique topic on their blog that week. Oh well... so here it is again (still fun to look at twice).
Great picks. I'm saying YES to the cover for Alice in Wonderland.
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! My number one would definitely be the Alice In Wonderland cover!

ReplyDeleteOMG!!! Awesome covers!!! The Wind Through the Keyhole would of made my list too is I had read it!! I was only choosing from the list of books I've read. We do, however have a cover in common. Come by and check it out on my Top Ten Covers @ Book Hangovers

The Night Circus is popular, and it's obvious why - it's gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Little Prince for sure!!! I almost included it on my TTT this week. I think that would be amazing on a child's bedroom's wall. It's one of my favorite books.
ReplyDeleteAlice in Wonderland is wickedly trippy. I love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat covers! I haven't seen that Alice's Adventures in Wonderland cover before but I absolutely love it! Here's my TTT.
ReplyDeleteI like the cover you have for Alice - I haven't read the book, but that is SUCH a cool cover. I would definitely frame some of the Harry Potter covers, since I'm a huge fan and I think they are so well done.

That Alice book cover is one of the most amazing I have seen!! Seriously it would be a coffee table book in my house.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love it ! Love it!
ReplyDeleteYes Yes!!
ReplyDeleteI just love art. So when I see a book cover with amazing art I just want to read it even more.
ReplyDeleteI love that artist too. They should create covers for every book out there!
ReplyDeleteMe too. Her art is right up my alley.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Thanks... I love when I have art taste with someone else.
ReplyDeleteOOHhh... I see us thinking alike!
ReplyDeleteI always like to pick top ten books that I've read also. That way if someone wants to chat about it I can do that.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even hopped around yet... but I bet I will see it on a few blogs.
ReplyDeleteI love love the artwork for the Little Prince. It is popular enough that I have seen it on note cards and tee-shirts.
ReplyDeleteI wish that I could find a print of it.
ReplyDeleteMe too... Of course that is why it had to go first on the list right??? ;)
ReplyDeleteI would frame HP too. Not just because I like the art work but it brings me good feels and memories.
ReplyDeleteThat first one is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that cover of Alice in Wonderland is gorgeous! I don't think i've ever seen it before. Great list!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! I almost had Little Prince, so pretty. And I left Potter out because I can do a Top 30 out of Potter alone. :D
ReplyDeleteomg I need that Alice in Wonderland! I collect copies of it - I'm crazy
ReplyDeleteSomeday I want one of the early early editions. My husband bought me one last year from hmmm I forget the year - it wasn't a first edition though obviously but I'm still holding out hope!
I can't find this version of Alice - you must link it to me!!! I NEEEEED it!!
ReplyDeleteHere is it: http://www.booksmith.com/book/9780061886577
ReplyDeleteThe artist is Camilla Rose Garcia. You should check out all the books she has made covers for!!
I know!!!
ReplyDeleteThe artist is amazing.. I love her work and wish I could afford to buy some and hang it in the house.
ReplyDeleteI thought about it... and don't know why I added Potter. I guess well... because it's Potter.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I haven't seen that particular Alice in Wonderland cover before, and I really like it! Bold and weird and mesmerizing... just like the book! The cover to The Arrival really resonates with me as well. Great picks! Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier, I'm glad to have found you! New follower! :)
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that version of Alice in Wonderland??! I'm absolutely IN LOVE. It's just gorgeous! And I really love the Night Circus one too. :))
ReplyDeleteAh, the little prince! I have a few different covers (it's one of the few books I love endlessly and have somehow ended up having many copies of!) and they're just so beautiful, but my favourite is a pop-up version, which is just exquisite. The little prince in pop up form! I'd probably be more likely to frame all of the illustrations inside of The Arrival than the cover itself, but it's just such a phenomonal book. Beautiful list!
ReplyDeleteI love that copy of Alice in Wonderland - I haven't seen it before. It's absolutely beautiful! The cover art of The Night Circus is another I really like. It's also a favourite book of mine too.

Bits & Bobs
The cover of Ash is extremely pretty and I sense a creepy theme going on here...these covers give me the chills. Especially that one of Alice in Wonderland. They have their own type of charm, though. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThe cover of The Night Circus!! <33 (not sure I'll read the book though...) And I also LOVE that Alice cover ;)
ReplyDeleteHow fun that everyone loves that Alice in Wonderland!! I am going to tweet this post out to the artist!! Just so she can see all the love.
ReplyDeleteI love love that Alice book cover too. I wish it was sold in a poster print!!
ReplyDeleteYes!!! The Arrival has the most amazing art in a graphic novel I have EVER seen. I wish more people would read it... well if you can call it reading. I suppose picture a story would be more accurate. The Little Prince is really a sweet beautiful book. The art is so whimsical.
ReplyDeleteI too liked the Night Circus. I thought it was a magical story and one I would for sure read again. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next!
ReplyDeleteThe Night Circus is a good book. It is more of a love story to me then anything else. I would give it a shot if I were you. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh .. I didn't think of a creepy theme. That is true.. I like spooky, magical, whimsical themes. Sometimes I wonder what peopel think when they come into my house! LOL!
