-As you may have seen... I am currently in the middle of a 24 hour readathon!! Dewey's Readathon is going on right now. Update 1 , Update 2, and my final Update 3. Honestly this was a fun Readathon. Lots of challenges throughout the events. Lots of chat on twitter... I mean seriously it was fun. Though I really didn't get reading done like a lot of people.

-BEA Armchair still needs volunteers to help cheer everyone on who is participating. If this is something you think you would have time for be sure to help out!

This week I am trying to read a lot of books that I own.. NOS4A2 by Joe Hill, Scarlet by Marissa Meyers!

I really want to see Spiderman 2 as well. I don't know if I'll have time this coming weekend with work and the end of my semester.

How good does Spiderman 2 look? I'm glad I ended up watching the first one even not being a big fan of Spiderman. Hope you enjoy the movie!

I thought I would be reading more tonight with the 24 hour readathon but ... yeah that's not going to happen. But I did get several comics read so that is great!
ReplyDeleteI am not a Spiderman fan either actually. But the movies are enjoyable enough. So I don't mind them entertaining me for a few hours.

ReplyDeleteIt's a movie trailer kind of week, Angela. I couldn't help but post the spectacularly creepy trailer for Gone Girl. It sends shivers up my spine every time I watch it.
Looking forward to the challenge starting this week. Kind of dragging out my current read so I can jump into the challenge on Thursday!

I am excited for it too.. I am still surprised that there was a new Spiderman franchise out so fast after the other one. Andrew G hasn't signed on for a third film yet so we'll see (probably a money thing).

ReplyDeleteI have only read one book by Joe Hill and I loved it soooo much!!! I sometimes wish I didn't have other things to do... like TV/movies so I could just read constantly! LOL!

I was just checking my comments on here when yours popped up! I usually miss the Dewey readathon but this year I was following their blog so I knew when it would happen!
ReplyDeleteYou know I wasn't overly impressed with Spiderman 1 so probably won't see 2 in theaters. I'm looking forward to seeing a few movies this summer though.
ReplyDeleteI think Spiderman is enjoyable ... a good time to go to a movie on a Friday night. I don't love Spiderman though. He is one of my least favorite superheroes.
