Sunday Post

Let's chat about what's going on this week... on my blog.. on other blogs... on the internet... and just everywhere!    I link up my post to Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves.

On the Blog:
-I review and talk about Cinder by Marissa Meyer
-I declare that I am joining Bout of Books again!
-Comic Adventures Issue #9 is published.  This time I chat about Nightwing, Batman the Dark Knight, Jack of Fables and Supergirl.
-As you may have seen... I am currently in the middle of a 24 hour readathon!!  Dewey's Readathon is going on right now.  Update 1 , Update 2,  and my final Update 3.  Honestly this was a fun Readathon.  Lots of challenges throughout the events.  Lots of chat on twitter... I mean seriously it was fun.  Though I really didn't get reading done like a lot of people.

Around the Blogospere:
-If you have never checked out the Book Rat's Annual Fairy Tale Fortnight then you are missing out!  The even just started so be sure to check it out.
-BEA Armchair still needs volunteers to help cheer everyone on who is participating.  If this is something you think you would have time for be sure to help out!
-I have been obsessed with instagram lately... well seeing books on there.  And YA Highway has a huge link of authors on there.

Internet:
Since I will be watching Spiderman 2 this week thought I would post this trailer to get us excited!

  1. I really want to see Spiderman 2 as well. I don't know if I'll have time this coming weekend with work and the end of my semester.

I hope to read more of my own books soon as well. Trying to get caught up on some review titles...

  4. I am not a Spiderman fan either actually. But the movies are enjoyable enough. So I don't mind them entertaining me for a few hours.

  13. Tanja, I like sleep way too much to participate in a 24-hour readathon! :)

It's a movie trailer kind of week, Angela. I couldn't help but post the spectacularly creepy trailer for Gone Girl. It sends shivers up my spine every time I watch it.

  17. I own so many books I want to read, but I've also got a slew of ARCs to get through... so the ARC challenge is going to be great for me! Sounds like you've had a great week. I'm off to check out your 'Cinder' post!

  18. I can't believe Spiderman is coming out this week either. Wow. The start of summer movies. I am looking forward to the villains the most in the Spiderman movie.

If you think the wait for Avengers 2 is long... Superman/Batman is 2016!!! WHAT!!!

  19. I am excited for it too.. I am still surprised that there was a new Spiderman franchise out so fast after the other one. Andrew G hasn't signed on for a third film yet so we'll see (probably a money thing).

  30. You know I wasn't overly impressed with Spiderman 1 so probably won't see 2 in theaters. I'm looking forward to seeing a few movies this summer though.

  31. I think Spiderman is enjoyable ... a good time to go to a movie on a Friday night. I don't love Spiderman though. He is one of my least favorite superheroes.
