Sunday Post

Let's chat about what's going on this week... on my blogs.. on other blogs... on the internet... and just everywhere!  Despite not reading this week.. the blog has been busy!  I link up my post to Sunday Post, Bought, Borrowed & Bagged, Showcase Sunday, and Stacking the Shelves.

This week on the blog:

What I found on the blogospere:
Why does everyone have a blogging best friend?? UMMM yeah!  This is what I want to know!
Penguin's new book covers  are pretty amazing and beautiful.  They have chosen a different author for the entire alphebet and made the first letter of their last name the cover for the book.  I love it!
Incarnate series readathon I love this series so this readathon looks fun.  I won't be re-reading the first two books but I am going to join in for the third (if my library gets in time).
Book Blog Walkers  is something I discovered and joined up with.  You just walk 30 minutes a day!  I am actually going to also include my gym time in this so I'll be riding the bike/elliptical also but on my days off from the gym I'll be walking.
Pamela at Reading is Fun Again talks about your favorite Magic System in books (though of course I think more of video games!)
Books A True Story takes us on a tour of the locations from Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Books Books Books
Yeesh this week a ton of books from the library came in and I plan on reading them all during Bout of Books 9.0! Hoping to get a lot of reading done this week!!  I am going to read Allegiant by Veronica Roth and Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler.

Internet!
OKOK  This video is hilarious!  I love Flula, and this had me crying laughing!

Happy weekend everyone!!  Link me back to your Sunday Posts!!

  3. Your comment post is awesome! I keep going back to check the comments (I have gotten rid of the notifications, since it's still popular enough to send me at least two or three e-mails every day)

I am one of the bloggers who actually really loved Allegiant, I hope you'll enjoy it too :)

Happy reading, Angie. Thanks for stopping by earlier.

    1. The comment post IS awesome. What I love about it the most is that it makes me feel not alone in thinking about it. Clearly all bloggers are pondering it. But now my next discussion post better be good! LOL!

    1. Thanks... getting started on some of my library books today. There is snow outside and it's cold so it's the perfect day to just snuggle up, lay in bed and read!

  9. I LOVE the Dresden Files and I also picked up Ghoul Goblin from NetGalley. And my husband bought me Takedown Twenty for Christmas. I just need to find time to read it. :)

    1. Ghoul Goblin is good.. I love that it's an original story and not just a re-telling of the books. You will like it since you enjoy the books. Takedown Twenty took me no time at all to read. You should be able to read it in a weekend afternoon.

  11. I'm also participating in Bout of Books 9.0. Hoping to read a lot. :) I hope you reach your goals!
I'll be interested to see what you think of Allegiant - just as a word of caution: this gave me a major book hangover.
I've also heard good things about Handler's book.

    1. Wouldn't it be the most amazing edition to your home library???? Maybe if I just buy the books with the letters in my name... that would be cheaper.

    1. I know! I haven't even had the option to order it yet... errrr. I'll probably have to request them to order it but you can't request it until AFTER the book comes out. Soooo... we'll see if I get it in time.

  15. Thanks for the links, as you've found some really interesting posts! I never thought about it much, but it does seem like everyone has a blogger BFF! And love your post on comments! I usually forget to go back and check for new replies, so wish there was an easier way to get notified.

    Enjoy your week!

    1. I wish there was an easier way too. I suppose since Blogger is a free service they aren't going to go in and really fix it or make it easier. It's like facebook... anytime they change something there isn't much we can do. We aren't really a customer since we don't pay. We just get what they provide.

  16. I still haven't read Allegiant, I tried to avoid spoilers, but I stil hard a lot of people weren't happy with the ending. I am just not in the mood to read it yet as I am afraid it will be disapointing. I hope you enjoy it!

    1. I am scared too!!! AYE!! Avoiding spoilers though from something people love is hard. TV shows can be the worst. If it's a highly anticipated TV show I watch it as soon as possible so I don't see something on facebook or somewhere!

  17. I love those Initial covers. Those are so pretty. I still need to read Allegiant. I think I would need to give the second book another look before I picked it up...and that's just not going to happen. Good luck on your Bout of Books challenge.
